چکیده

The Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine (Gam-COVID-Vac) is an adenoviral vector-based against the SARS-CoV-2 virus developed by Gamaleya National Research Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology in Moscow, Russia. It consists of two recombinant adenovirus vectors; type 26 (rAd26) 5 (rAd5), with a heterologous approach used to reduce risk immune responses vector component. Findings from published studies showed that Gam-COVID-Vac was relatively safe, mostly mild local systemic reactions reported. Both rAd26-S rAd5-S had be administered develop effective neutralising antibodies. No cross-reactive antibodies viral component identified. phase 3 trial performed Russia only demonstrated efficacy 91.6% preventing disease. Common adverse events were flu-like symptoms, injection site reactions, headaches asthenia, which majority mild. Results ongoing using Belarus, United Arab Emirates India would useful demonstrate generalisability other population groups. Details safety surveillance data are awaited before submission regulatory approval. Keywords: Adenovirus Vaccines, COVID-19, Russia, vaccines

CoViD, A System for Collaborative Virtual 3D Design

Many important decisions in the design process are made fairly early on, after designers have presented initial concepts. In many domains, these concepts are now realized as 3D digital models and, in meetings, the stakeholders evaluate these potential solutions. Frequently, the participants in such a meeting want to interactively modify the proposed designs to explore the design space better. T...

Coagulopathies after vaccination against SARS-CoV-2: The sole solution might lead to another problem

The common reported adverse impacts of COVID-19 vaccination include the injection site’s local reaction followed by various non-specific flu-like symptoms. Nevertheless, uncommon cases of vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) following viral vector vaccines (ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, Ad26.COV2 vaccine) have been reported. This liter...

A review on some Nutrition-Based Interventions in Covid-19

Covid-19 is an emerging infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 that can be transmitted to humans. There are currently no drugs or vaccines for this disease. In the absence of treatment for this new virus, finding alternative methods to prevent and control the disease is important. Having a well-functioning immune system is essential for the host's defense against pathogenic organisms. Malnutri...
